Troy just wants to have fun. Well, except for when he's working. Having developed a well deserved reputation for partying, playing pranks, never taking anything seriously and always joking and being something of a 'class clown' there came a point in his life when he realized that he needed to prove that he could be taken seriously. That point came last year. Since then he's become a scout and used his abilities to their fullest and shown that he can be dependable and can get the job done. In fact he's been so good at getting the job done that now that something serious has come along, he's the one they expect to deliver. But that's not all that's going on with Troy right now.

A joke his brother decided to play on him has kind of turned into something that's not really a joke at all. Suddenly Troy has found himself with a lot more responsibilities than he ever meant to have. What makes it even stranger for him is the way it happened to him, is still apparently happening to him. After all, he's supposed to be about as deep as a mud puddle. Yet suddenly he's finding himself dealing with something this is a lot more important than his current task, well to him at least.

Sure, he'll get the job done, he said he would after all. But life isn't ever going to be the same for him, and it's starting to look like that's a good thing.

WARNING: "Troy" is definitely not for the faint of heart because have you seen how fast that sucker can run? You can't do that with a faint heart! Seriously! You'll kill yourself! Yes, there are references to *gasp* sex in this story. There's even references to (darn I say it!) marriage! Oh noes! Run for your lives! It's about growing up and taking responsibility, the one thing that's kryptonite to jokers everywhere! Oh, and if you just happen to be driving through the deserts of Nevada and see some guy babbling about two brothers and some 'game' they're playing? Don't stop.

There really isn't a lot to say at the moment, but I'll try to mention a few things. First, the warnings about what kind of a book it is? Please read those. Because it's kind of sad to see people complaining about a book containing Harem and Violence and adult situations when it says right in the blurb that those things are in the story.

Yes I work for a living, yes I have worked in some very odd industries (entertainment included), yes I will try to write more stories. No I'm not the next great American literature writer, sorry, I just want to have fun (is there anything wrong with that?) and entertain people. I'll see about a blog or a webpage one of these days, if people are interested.

Why doesn't he write another volume faster?
Why you can't stand behind him, as he's slaving away over his keyboard, about to die from lack of food you're not permitted him to have so that he types more and faster and whining about the lashes you administered.
Why you finished all the books in the series, ALMOST in one sitting, knowing that the author has not published another book in the series?

WHY! WHY! WHY! as you beat your head against the wall or facepalming. Why have I subjected myself to this anguish?

I throughly enjoyed ALL the volumes of this series It has the potential to become a mega series IF the author produces more and more while maintaining the excellence that he has demonstrated.

HEAVY sigh... deep depression.... Agony and despair he has yet to publish the next book....

I think I m going to go hide my head....

This was exactly what I wanted and more than I expected. I was honestly worried that having another Valens book with a different perspective would have been too much. Yet this one fit in nicely and I think I like Troy a lot. His personality is more the wild and crazy Valens boy from the earlier books. Yet he is very level headed when it comes to the job.

Again I am amazed on how well everything fits the world building is becoming more. The magic a bit more expansive and explored. I really like the direction the MC is taking with his wives and though some may say it was a bit too fast… he is a Valens and a cheetah.

Can’t wait for more of the Legacy!

Troy's job, given by his father and brother, is to find out how the demons are spreading beyond their locked in walls. Then he needs to do all he can to stop them.

This was another great read that I never lost interest in throughout the entire story.
Each book builds on the different brothers within the same timeline, but from different points of view.
It is written so very well with sex written, but in a tasteful way.

Troy has always been one of the kids that maks me laugh and finally getting to know him has be great. Especially since he's not lion (?) and you get to see how he's developing into a great man. If you haven't read the Valens legacy books you need too. Great characters to love and then continue to love, and then you read the Heritage books and love this series even more.

Troy is the 4th book in the Legacy series and just as good as the previous 3. Exciting all the way through and no retread of the previous books. A whole lot new each time. 1 complaint in an otherwise well edited book: it is mother's in law, not mother in laws! Suggestion: how about a book focused on Steve. By the end of Troy, the presidential election is 2 months away and Steve has been a big deal since the very beginning. Do him the honor of his own book.

Honestly I like all the valens books, but this one takes the top spot after reading it at least in the giggles dept.
I honestly haven't laughed as hard reading in a while. And all of it thanks to the fact that the characters are as lovable as always and the humour comes from love, mostly.

I'm writing this review only for the authors sake so he gets more exposure, because if you got here any other way but an accident you already know what to expect.
And if you didn't, the book you're looking for next is "The Valens Legacy" and come back here 20'odd books heavier :)

The book was shorter than I would have liked, as I finished it in only 4 or 5 hours and I’m not a fast reader. It may have assisted that I’m sick with COVID and spent most of today in bed reading. Really enjoying these Valens books, and the romantic entanglements that Sean’s kids seem to quickly pile up are entertaining, moving and a bit sexual. This story meshes well with the overall storyline that started with the new series and contributes more content. Really enjoyable and a good read.
